But even in the most peaceful times, sailors whispered of a cursed ship whose form was swallowed and spat out again by the fog. The village elders say that this eerie ship is inhabited by the souls of drowned sailors who are doomed to sail the seas forever.
A Night of Terror – It was on such a night that Matija, an experienced fisherman, set out in his small boat to cast his net one last time that day. The fog settled over the water like a heavy curtain, and soon the coast was nothing more than a distant rumor. Suddenly, the sounds of the ocean fell silent, as if the sea itself were holding its breath. In this unsettling silence, Matija heard a faint clinking sound—the first sign of impending doom. Before him, the ghost ship appeared out of nowhere. It was a ghostly sight: the ship was old and weathered, the wood black as ebony, the sails torn and limp.
