A former cleaner at the Brighton Dome had a particularly unsettling experience and reported an unusually realistic encounter. One quiet night, whilst working alone, she suddenly heard footsteps steadily drawing nearer. When she scanned the corridor, there was no one to be seen. “It felt as though someone was standing right next to me,” she said. These stories are not isolated incidents and give rise to speculation as to whether former stablehands or servants from the past might still be bound to this place in some way.
