A particularly well-known incident occurred in 2009: A group of investigators reported hearing an unexplained woman’s voice on an audio recording. The whispered word was allegedly ‘Miłość’, the Polish word for ‘love’. Whether a coincidence or indeed a reference to Helena’s tragic fate – this event breathed new life into the legend and made headlines in paranormal circles.
